What is a Pearson VUE® Authorized Test Center?
- Pearson VUE® Authorized Test Centers are independent organizations or businesses using Pearson VUE software to deliver computer-based exams.
- Test centers provide the testing environment, computers, Internet access and staff to proctor the tests.
- Pearson VUE provides the testing system software and support.
- Authorized test centers are compensated for the delivery of exams; however, they are not franchises.
Steps to becoming a test center
Step 1: Apply
First, assess your readiness by reviewing the Pearson VUE technical specifications and facility requirements. Then complete the accompanying application. Attach all supporting documents, including a copy of your floor plan and pictures of your center, which can include photographs or a video.
Step 2: Sign
Once your application is received, we will evaluate it. If approved, we will send you a contract and other applicable forms.
Step 3: Approval
Once approved, we will send a pre-activation kit (containing materials for your test center), and your Pearson VUE Site ID which enables access to the online Policies & Procedures Guide.
Step 4: InstallInstall the testing software promptly with the assistance of the Pearson VUE Support Services team.
Step 5: Train
Finally, your designated Test Administrator can review the online Policies & Procedures Guide and sit for the open-book TA certification test. Once your TA passes the test and is certified, you will be activated to start test delivery.
