The Symfony Certification exam
The official SensioLabs Symfony2 Certification contains 75 randomly chosen questions and is 90 minutes long. The examination covers the following topics:
Purchasing exam vouchers
Once you’ve purchased your vouchers, you will be able to connect to the PearsonVUE candidates manager to use your vouchers and schedule your next examination session at a test center close to your location.
- Vouchers are emitted the day of purchase and they are valid during 365 days.
- Vouchers are not refundable or transferable.
The SensioLabs Symfony2 Certification exam is based on the default Symfony Standard Edition package and the Symfony 2.3 LTS version.
The SensioLabs Symfony2 Certification exam only contains three types of questions:
- True false questions,
- Single answer questions,
- Multiple answers questions.
There are no open questions or any lines of code to write.
The exam does not support any persistence frameworks like Doctrine or Propel. The exam only focuses on the Symfony core concepts.
The FOSUserBundle bundle is not part of the exam, as well as third party bundles and librairies.
This is a top secret information! You will only know if you passed or failed your exam at the end of the examination.
Yes you can retake the exam if you failed it once. SensioLabs allows candidates to take the exam twice a calendar year.
There are two grades. If you passed the exam, you will be graduated the first or the second grades depending on your score.
Yes you can! The only condition is that you must reschedule your examination session at least 48 hours prior to your initial exam meeting.
If you don't show up at the testing center, your voucher will be considered used and you will have to buy another voucher to sit the exam.
Appointments may be made up to one calendar day prior to the day a candidate wishes to test (subject to availability).
