PRMIA Certification Exams
The Professional Risk Manager (PRM™) designation is the global standard for the world’s top financial risk professionals. Endorsed by leading businesses and leading graduate programs, it counts candidates from more than any other program for risk managers. The exam tests a candidate’s knowledge and understanding of the key building blocks essential to being a successful financial risk manager.
The Associate PRM is designed to be mathematically and theoretically less detailed than the PRM covering the core concepts of risk management, allowing non-specialists to interpret risk management information and reports, make critical assessments, and evaluate the implications and the limitations of such results. Passing the Associate PRM exam will demonstrate the essential knowledge necessary to understand and manage risks in any corporate or economic environment.
The Operational Risk Manager (ORM) Certificate is designed to deliver a deep, practical understanding of operational risk management frameworks and measurement methodologies in financial institutions. Successful candidates will be better prepared to implement meaningful risk assessment initiatives, produce useful risk management information and understand basic modeling techniques for operational risk measurement.
The PRMIA Credit and Counterparty Manager (CCRM) Certificate is designed to deliver a deep, practical understanding of credit risk analysis frameworks and how to deploy them and act on them in practice in financial institutions. Successful candidates will be better prepared to implement meaningful risk assessment initiatives, produce useful risk management information, and understand the key modeling techniques for credit risk measurement. In addition, they must commit to further uphold the highest professional and ethical standards as defined by the PRMIA Standards of Best Practice, Conduct and Ethics.
Note: Testing will begin in March 2016
The PRMIA Market, Liquidity and Asset Management Risk Manager (MLARM) Certificate is designed to deliver a deep, practical understanding of these areas of risk management, their frameworks, and various measurement methodologies in financial institutions. Successful candidates will be better prepared to implement the processes, procedures and policies around these areas, as well as gain a deep overview of the related tools and techniques. In addition, they must commit to further uphold the highest professional and ethical standards as defined by the PRMIA Standards of Best Practice, Conduct and Ethics.
Note: Testing will begin in March 2016
