The Minnesota Board of Cosmetologist Examiners contract with Pearson VUE will be ending at close of business on November 30, 2014.
Pearson VUE will continue examination registration and administration through November 30, 2014. If you plan to test prior to November 30th, we encourage you to schedule as early as possible, prior to November 30th.
Examinations scheduled after November 30th (with Pearson VUE) will need to be cancelled. Any fees paid to Pearson VUE (for examination scheduled after 11/30) will be refunded.

NOTE: Many of the exams for this program consist of two portions: a General portion and a State portion. Both portions are scored separately. You must pass both portions to successfully pass your exam. If you pass only one portion and not the other, you will need to retake the exam, but you will only be billed for the portion you did not pass. Additional details can be found in the Candidate Handbook.

It is very important that this information is correct, as it will appear as it was entered on the documentation provided to you after you have completed the exam, as well as on any reports to your licensing agency.
