Kansas Real Estate

Kansas Real Estate

Attention:

The current registration and scheduling process will change on April 24, 2025, to align with Kansas Real Estate Commission’s new application process. On that date, you will begin the process by submitting a Salesperson or Broker Prelicensure application to KREC online and obtaining a Prelicense Number. You will not be able to register on our site or schedule an exam until you have done so.

Visit krec.ks.gov for instructions on submitting a pre-licensure application.

Please note: Any Pearson VUE testing account for Kansas Real Estate created prior to April 24, 2025, will no longer be able to schedule new appointments. You will need to create a new Pearson VUE testing account after you receive your Prelicense Number.

NOTE: Digital Fingerprint Services are now available at the Overland Park, Topeka, and Wichita Pearson Professional testing sites.

Log into Available Exams, select Other, and choose: Fingerprint KSREFP: KS RE Fingerprint Appointment.

Real Estate Practice Tests

Pearson VUE offers Broker and Sales practice tests for $19.95. The tests include questions on general real estate topics. The tests are developed using concepts found in the general portion of the actual exam and cover areas such as product knowledge, terms, and concepts. The practice tests coincide with the current, general test outline. State-specific practice tests are not available.
