CompTIA PenTest+ Beta Exam (PT1-001) ended April 25
If you took the CompTIA PenTest+ certification beta exam, thank you! Candidates who took the exam will receive email notification from Certmetrics with important information regarding their score report when the PenTest+ certification is launched, tentatively scheduled for Q3, 2018.

CompTIA Recertification exams RC0 series retire June 30, 2018
The CompTIA Recertification Exams will be retired on June 30, 2018 and will not be available after that date. Anyone preparing for these exams is encouraged to complete their studies and take their exam. Upon registering for any CompTIA Recertification Exam, you have either 45 days or until June 30, 2018, whichever comes first, to complete your exam.

CompTIA CV0-001 Cloud+ certification exam retirement update
The English language version of the CompTIA Cloud+ CV0-001 certification exam retires August 1, 2018 and will not be available to test beyond that date. Anyone preparing for this exam version is encouraged to complete their studies and take their exam. CompTIA N10-006 Network+ certification exam retirement update
The English language version of the CompTIA Network+ N10-006 certification exam https://certification.comptia.org/certifications/network retires August 31, 2018 and will not be available to test beyond that date. Translated versions of the Network+ N10-006 exam will retire January 31, 2019. Vouchers already purchased for this exam can also be used for the Network+ N10-007 exam and are valid through the voucher expiration date.
Duplicate email addresses ended
Effective June 18, 2017 CompTIA began requiring each of their customer accounts within the Pearson VUE registration system to have a unique email address. Accounts that share the same email address need to be resolved, prior to any future registrations for CompTIA exams. For assistance resolving issues related to duplicate email addresses, contact Pearson VUE customer support via the online chat feature. Please anticipate a resolution time of 3-5 business days.

Scheduling your exam
- CompTIA requires the candidate to review the CompTIA Candidate Agreement prior to beginning an exam. The candidate will be allowed twenty-eight (28) minutes.
- CompTIA Certifications, LLC prohibits candidate’s from using unauthorized third-party training sites or materials, aka 'brain dumps.' Do not risk having your certification revoked. Visit CompTIA’s website for more information.

Sharing your Certification status
If a third party (employer, academic institution, military etc.) has paid for you to take a CompTIA exam or to participate in the CompTIA Continuing Education (CE) program, upon request CompTIA will share your certification status and/or progress in completing your CE requirements with the third party.
