Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology (EPPP)
Looking for ASPPB (EPPP) practice exams?
Who is eligible to take the EPPP Exam?
In order to sit for the EPPP, individuals must first apply for licensure as a Psychologist to the licensing authority in the state, province or territory in which they wish to be licensed. The licensing authority reviews applicants’ credentials and determines if they meet the requirements set in the laws of the state or province.
Candidates who meet the requirements will be authorized by the licensing authority to take the EPPP. Once authorized, candidates will receive an invite to the EPPP registration portal from Certemy.com.
If you believe you have been authorized but have not yet received an email, contact your licensing authority.
In order to schedule the EPPP (Part 2-Skills), you must have acquired a passing score on the EPPP (Part 1-Knolwedge). The ASPPB recommended passing score for Independent Practice is 500. New York State has approved the same passing standard but uses a converted passing score of 75.
If you are pursuing a license for Independent Practice and have received a passing score on the EPPP (Part 1-Knowledge), please allow up to 5 business days for your score to reflect in the system. Once the score is reflected, you will be able to schedule the EPPP (Part 2-Skills) exam. If you are still unable to schedule, please contact ASPPB at https://www.asppb.net/general/?type=EPPPcontact.
If you are pursuing a license for Supervised Practice and have received the passing score set by your licensing authority on the EPPP (Part 1-Knowledge), please wait 5 business days and contact your licensing authority to request they communicate with ASPPB that you are eligible to sit for the EPPP (Part 2-Skills) exam.
