Pearson VUE joining forces with IT Training Awards 2009 to help raise money for ChildLine

London, UK, January 15, 2009 — Pearson VUE (www.pearsonvue.co.uk) is sponsoring the IT Training Awards 2009 (IITT) Charity Auction in a bid to help raise over £20,000 for ChildLine. To be held at The Dorchester in London on Thursday 5th February 2009, the prestigious event will be presented by the Countess of Wessex and will see the auctioning off of luxury prizes such as holidays in the Maldives, New York and Portugal.

Pearson VUE, a leading specialist provider of computer-based testing solutions, is closely involved with The IT Training Awards, which recognises outstanding examples of high standards, best practice, innovation and excellence within IT training. Hosted by the Institute of IT Training, the annual awards ceremony and the Pearson VUE — sponsored Charity Auction has raised over 135,000 for the charity ChildLine in the last six years.
